Improving well-being is about the destination, our wellness is the journey to get there. Wellness is the pursuit of health and happiness through healthy lifestyle habits.
It’s about pursuing health and happiness through healthy lifestyle habits like mindfulness, preventive health checks and physical activity.
Wellness is a practice that can lead to greater mental, emotional, and physical health.
When we think about teams we must see the individual on each team and see each person for what they are and not just as mere resources with time to trade.
Team Managers are there to help understand how we can help people thrive.
Clear and transparent communication helps a better understanding and friction and conflicts reduction.
Taking action to promote a better wellness is key to achieve unique results. It strengths bonds and create meaningful relationships. It’s up to you to make it count.
How it started?
CrankyDino was imagined by people who manage teams.
The goal is to help people growth and become a better version of themselves as individuals and as teams.
Realising that attrition is a main concern with lots of unhappy people not only at the companies but even within teams led to create the trigger to detect this.
We believe managers are key to a better workplace but they need the tools and coaching to help others thrive.
CrankyDino bootstrap in 2021 during the pandemic where we realised that even people being together every single day during calls wasn’t really enough and people weren’t connecting because the bond wasn’t really there.
We wanted to narrow the gap and people who were apart could feel closer.


Freedom leads to wellness
We believe increasing our self awareness promotes a change of mind towards a better well-being. Becoming more conscious everyday of our self, helps drive better decisions to us and towards others.
CrankyDino is our way to identify, self-analyse and promote change towards a better leadership.
Creating a daily photograph helps you:
- Reflect on your day-to-day and self exam what went well and what can be improved.
- Creates a timeline of events for you and others that should be an indicator of change.
We believe nothing happens without work, towards your happiness, your self or to help others, but to accomplish that you must understand when to act and help.
With a global increase on hybrid or remote-only work models world wide we must now act before people become too isolated and without a way to seek for help.
People on the other hand are feeling a decrease in their well-being and are seeking to improve their wellness.
Managers job it’s to help their teams thrive and to improve their lives and to create the opportunity for people to learn, improve and spend quality time with their ones.
We must be able to pause and resume our work to take care of ourselves and sometimes that is conflicting with the work we have to do. Providing options that helps people to take control over their lives without compromising their success is critical for a better future and self-realisation.
